Patricia Hendrix: Bio

Pianist Patricia Hendrix
has been performing in the Metropolitan area since
graduating with a BA in Music from
The University of Rhode Island in 1973.
She continued her studies with NYC teachers & by performing in Master Classes including sessions coached by Lillian Freundlich , Armand Boyajian , Nelly Ben-Or & private studies with Dorothy Schroth.
Patricia was a recipient of the Lincoln
Center Student Award & received good
reviews from the American College of Musicians Recording Competition.
She has performed as a soloist
in many East Coast venues including Carnegie Hall , Steinway Gallery , RI Fine Arts Concert Hall , NYU's Frederick
Loew's Theatre & most recently at Symphony Space , NYC. Her CD "Something
Old, Something New was featured on John Hammond's NJ
Internet Radio Show.She recently performed The Mozart Concerto in C with the Fredricksburg/Spotswood Community Orchestra.
Patti has also been an active
accompanist for many Choral Groups & Vocalists including Joan Grande's ( of NY City Opera) "Ecclesia Choral", The Clifton Choral Society & Alma Vajas Studios.
Currently Patricia is Organist /Accompanist
for The Newfoundland Methodist Church &
2011-13 President of the Professional
Music Teacher's Guild of NJ. She also teaches 30 plus
private students in her NJ home.
